By New Statesman

Delaware’s Tea Party candidate for the US Senate gained international notoriety by responding to some fruity revelations about her past hobbies with a campaign ad beginning with the words, “I am not a witch, I’m you.” Fame and a possible book deal: you’d think it’d been a winning year for O’Donnell. Sadly, no. The voters of Delaware didn’t to the idea of being represented by an anti-masturbation activist who doubts evolution – even one who is 100 percent not a witch.
