Sturgeon concerned by Johnson declaring UK “past the peak“ of virus

Scottish First Minister Nicola Sturgeon has expressed concern over Boris Johnson’s declaration that the UK is “past the peak” of the virus, and warned that the nation is still in a “fragile” position.

Earlier, she had declined to echo the Prime Minister’s comments, saying she was “cautious about talking about being past the peak… the peak is not necessarily a single day or a couple of days”.
