Glenn Mulcaire: awful bloke, decent footballer

The investigator at the heart of the NotW phone-hacking scandal played football for AFC Wim

Strange, but true. Glenn Mulcaire, the man who stands accused of hacking into phones belonging to Milly Dowler, used to play football for AFC Wimbledon. In fact, he reportedly scored their first ever goal – and it’s an absolute screamer. Watch below:
