The NS Poem: caries

A new poem by Hal Y Zhang.

By Hal Y Zhang

while they drill I am reminded of the moon
landing, being equally unversed in either
will do that, how we can hurl darts at the sky
to strike that distant pockmarked land,
how some will never believe it,
not even when you show the flag tucked
among your molars.

Hal Y Zhang is a former physicist, and a poet and science-fiction writer. Her chapbook “Amnesia” is published by Newfound.
