We were delighted by the response to our 180-page centenary edition, the largest single issue in the New Statesman’s long, distinguished but not always smooth history. This is a good period for the NS, both for the magazine and the website, and we wish to thank all of those readers who wrote to congratulate us on the issue and comment on what was published in it.
Unfortunately, we have only limited space for your letters and emails (see page 10) but all have been read and were gratefully received. And so we go on into our second century.
