Lord Justice Leveson has repeatedly criticised the “leaking of information from the Inquiry”, most recently rebuking the Independent on Sunday for publishing a story on Andy Coulson’s shares in News Corporation after reading his confidential evidence.
It’s notable, therefore, that large parts of Jeremy Hunt’s testimony appear to have fallen into the hands of the BBC’s Nick Robinson. One wonders if Leveson will have something to say about this when the inquiry begins at 10am.
