Word of the week: Jeremania

By Julia Rampen

In the week where Labour held its party conference and Momentum ran its festival, The World Transformed, the word of the week is:

Jeremania

A devotion to Jeremy Corbyn that transcends uncomfortable youth hostel bunks, early morning fringe meetings and queuing in the rain.

Origin:

Heard at conference.

Usage:

“Why are all these young folks coming in Liverpool? It’s Jeremania.”

Treat yourself or a friend this Christmas to a New Statesman subscription for just £2

“I think after his speech re reached peak Jeremania.”

“Is Owen Smith not feeling the Jeremania.”
