“Corporation tax for multinationals operating in the UK is close to being a voluntary payment”
Former City minister, Lord Myners, speaking ahead of bosses from Amazon, Google and Starbucks appearing in front of MPs this afternoon. The executives will give evidence on the subject of tax avoidance to the Public Accounts Committee, following criticism that the companies don’t pay enough tax on their UK earnings.
