Asda starts Christmas four months early

The supermarket chain has put "Santa's grottos" in three English stores.

According to the Daily Star, Asda has opened “Santa’s grottos” in three English stores. Christmas is just 118 days away! Better start preparing.

The paper reports:

Christmas has come early at Asda – with store bosses opening a string of Santa’s grottos. . .

Several shoppers have complained to the Advertising Standards Authority about the early decorations

But Asda bosses said the grottos are designed to get people to “start saving” for the festive season and are advertising Christmas card savings.

The three stores are mapped below. Currently, it seems John O’Groats is the furthest place from Christmas on Great Britain.
