Headline of the week!

Pravda. You are the best.

By Sophie Elmhirst

I don’t know if I need to say anything about this at all.

All Cartoonists Seem To Be Cursed Forever Globally

Where to begin? I’m not even going to go into the article.

Treat yourself or a friend this Christmas to a New Statesman subscription for just £2

a) ALL of them?

b) FOREVER?

c) GLOBALLY?

THANK YOU

I mean, if I was a cartoonist right now I’d think my luck really had run out once and for all. Nowhere to go, no hope of things getting better before the very end of infinity. Just utter doom.

And yet.

All Cartoonists SEEM To Be Cursed Forever Globally.

Do you see that? The “seem”? I mean, the whole thing suddenly collapses around itself in a heap. They might “seem” to be cursed for ever globally, but actually they’re not! It’s all a mirage!

Oh, Pravda, how you keep us on our toes.
