A Little Knight Music

Ahoy there, medieval tourism enthusiasts!

By Sophie Elmhirst

Medieval tourism update from Romania!

Thank you to Nine O’Clock for pointing us in the direction of a knight tournament in Hunedoara which will include “medieval bands from all over the country, theater plays, animation on high heels, fire animation”. Animation on high heels? Really? On a more pensive note, why have I never been to a knight tournament? More to the point, why have I never been to THIS knight tournament. Check out the devotion, the sheer ambition of the event: “the organizers aim that apart from medieval dance and music bands, “knights” and “young ladies” shall develop Dracula legend as much as possible”. Who even knew the legend needed developing. You learn a new thing about knight tournaments every single day.
