New Statesman PR representative – one day a week

The New Statesman, an award-winning politics and culture magazine and website, is looking for a PR to work one day a week in its London office.

The successful applicant will have comprehensive current affairs knowledge; an interest in politics, culture and foreign affairs; and great media contacts. He or she will know how to make sure that our journalism reaches as wide an audience as possible; have thoughts on how guest edits can be supported with marketing and promotion; and will liaise with our staff journalists and top outside writers on their broadcast appearances. Experience with digital formats and social media is an asset.

The post will be initially for a fixed term, and a competitive salary will be paid pro-rata. This post would not always require the successful applicant to work in the office; there may be the opportunity to work remotely.

Please apply with a covering letter and CV to Helen @ newstatesman.co.uk by noon on Friday, 10 July.
