Vauxhall and Ford to restart production at UK factories

Car manufacturers Vauxhall and Ford have confirmed that some of their UK plants will resume operations from next week.

But both firms will introduce a variety of health and safety measures to guard their employees against the coronavirus pandemic. Factory staff will undergo routine temperature testing and be issued with protective masks, and where possible, will keep two metres apart.
