Tunisia will relax its lockdown measures against the coronavirus pandemic after recording three consecutive days without any new infections.The north African country had imposed a curfew in March, lasting from 8pm to 6am, to keep people at home; while also mandating the closure of all non-essential shops and services.
But, after successfully slowing the spread of the virus, the country’s president, Kais Saied, is set to cut the curfew hours to 11pm to 5am, and start the process of reopening businesses. At the time of writing, Tunisia has 1,032 confirmed cases of Covid-19 and 45 related deaths.
