Today’s Prime Minister’s Questions showed that Labour leader Keir Starmer is determined to steer clear of the debate over schools reopening on 1 June, but more than happy to criticise the government on the failure to test patients being discharged into care homes.
We also learned that Prime Minister Boris Johnson is prepared to wait until at least the end of the month to address the disproportionate likelihood of ethnic minorities dying from Covid-19, and that it will take several weeks before testing in care homes becomes routine.
