Cohen vs Hari: the battle of the pro-war Left

Could the spat between Nick Cohen and Johann Hari provide the space for the left to discuss the cons

By Martin Bright

I spent too long today posting up a group on Facebook to discuss the rather juicy argument between pro-war columnist Nick Cohen and ex-pro-war columnist Johann Hari. You see Hari wrote a review of Nick Cohen’s book “What’s Left?” for the left-wing journal Dissent. Cohen then posted a response on his website which will later also appear in Dissent.

My Facebook group had already attracted a flutter of discussion when it was removed this afternoon. Anyway, if people want to continue the discussion I have posted a new group with the title “Why has the discussion group on the Johann Hari-Nick Cohen spat disappeared?”.

Johann Hari has already joined it. So let the fun recommence.
