Is Blair facing a weekend police interview?

Developments in the 'cash for peerages' issue

By Martin Bright

Good to see the mighty Guido Fawkes a giant among bloggers, has spotted the crux of the story about Michael Levy from last week’s Statesman.

The comments on this item are also very revealing. I hear that Sky and the BBC are preparing for the possibility of the police interviewing Blair about “cash for honours” this weekend and already have their satellite vans ready to rumble.

Meanwhile David Henke at the Guardian is on to something concerning Labour’s own lawyers who are wondering whether those who set up the loans were acting “ultra vires” (i.e. without the proper authority of the party).
