BBC's Newsnight ran an exclusive interview with ex-Italian PM Silvio Berlusconi last night. Watch it here.

Last night, Newsnight ran Jeremy Paxman's exclusive interview with the former Italian prime minister Silvio Berlusconi.

Paxman:

 - Asked him whether it's true Berlusconi called German chancellor Angela Merkel an "unfuckable lard-arse".

 - Questioned why he jumped out from behind a pillar and said "cuckoo" to Merkel.

 - Found out from Berlusconi his view of comedian and leader of Italy's largest party, the Five Star Movement, Beppe Grillo: "His behaviour reminds me of some of the most bloody and dangerous characters in history. He has many things in common with Robespierre, Stalin and Pol Pot."

 - Drew him on his private life, referring to the 'Bunga Bunga' parties, to which Berlusconi replied, "the Bunga Bunga accusations were the most amazing things, ridiculous! They manipulated reality."
