Sunak has been MP for Richmond since 2015 and before becoming PM he served as chancellor of the Exchequer from 13 February 2020 to 5 July 2022. Thanks to a Fulbright scholarship, he studied philosophy, politics and economics at Lincoln College, Oxford, and did an MBA at Stanford University.
