“We’re fucked”: Accidental voiceover on BBC footage of Labour split

“Not gonna lie, like with this and Brexit, we’re actually fucked.”

By Media Mole

Someone’s having a miserable Monday morning at the BBC. Its live coverage of the Labour split press conference, where seven MPs have been announcing their departure from the Labour Party, included an accidental voiceover.

“Not gonna lie, like with this and Brexit, we’re actually fucked,” are the words your mole can make out from a disembodied voice being picked up by the mic.

“It’s going to be so divided, it’s still going to be divided, the Conservatives are going to win.”
