Forget Boris Johnson – here’s a young woman we found!

In an “article” headlined solely to engage sweaty voyeurs with search engines – “BLONDE AMBITION: Who is Carrie Symonds? Party-loving spin doctor who has grown close to Boris Johnson as his marriage crumbles” – The Sun reveals its news values.

Instead of focusing on, y’know, the former foreign secretary and one of the most powerful politicians in the country, it decided a key component of telling the story of Boris Johnson’s untrustworthiness was to publish 17 – yes, seventeen – pictures of an ex-Tory aide.
