Immigration minister Mark Harper told an asylum seeker he “should leave the UK” live on television.

Speaking on the BBC’s Sunday Politics West, Harper told five-time asylum applicant Esam Amin that his claim was “ridiculous”. Harper asserted that the Iraqi had no right to remain in this country.
