“After meeting with Vince Cable and my questions in Parliament glad he initiates inquiry into Comet closure”

Robert Halfon, MP for Harlow, tweeted on Tuesday morning that the government is to launch an inquiry into the closure of Comet. His tweet sparked rumours and reports across the internet of an unconfirmed investigation into the closure of the electrical giant, which owes £233m to creditors, including £26.2m to HM Revenue and Customs.
