There is a bizarre link on the BBC website, with a video in which a trendy, t-shirt wearing David Cameron today "gives a flavour" of his manifesto.

The clip says as much about both the BBC's Pravda-esque coverage of Cameron as it does about Cameron himself. For, apart from a fleeting reference to tax breaks for married couples, he does not outline a single policy at all.

Instead, he implies that elections are not about manifestos, but about "change", and the need to "work together". The clip is shown alongside this earth-shattering revelation from the Beeb:

David Cameron has said that the Conservatives would offer a new approach to government.
