The New Statesman made a guest appearance at today’s PMQs. Conservative MP Gavin Williamson referred to an “important piece” in the NS on “workplace bullying” and began to read out the killer quote: “Ed Miliband’s team are terrified of Ed Balls and Yvette. They think they’re going to come and try and kill him,” only to be cut off by an angry John Bercow, who ruled the question out of order.
Those of you who want to know what so excited Williamson should pick up this week’s magazine and read Dan Hodges’ piece on Labour’s internal strife (you can read a preview here). But here, for the record, is the full and uncensored quote from a senior Brownite source who spoke to Hodges:
Ed Miliband’s team are terrified of Ed Balls and Yvette. They think they’re going to come and try and kill him. And the reason they think that is because they will.
