Clegg the comedian

What's the difference between Ryan Giggs and Ed Miliband?

By George Eaton

By all accounts, Nick Clegg was on fine form at today’s Press Gallery lunch. First there was this gem of a joke about Ed Miliband:

Ryan Giggs and Ed Miliband. One is a fading left winger who upset his brother. The other is a footballer.

And then there was this mischievous barb at his old foe Chris Huhne:

Whatever people say about Chris Huhne, I don’t know any politician better at getting his points across.

One suspects that Huhne, who is alleged to have asked his wife to accept speeding points on his behalf, will not be amused.
