Scottish MPs for Scotland only, and good riddance to bad rubbish.
Douglas Clark - of course he does - Labour will never get in again in England if we get our own parliament or Scots MPs are banned from voting on English matters.
They have their own Parliament - let them be satisfied with that.
Jeremy - Labour would have won the last three elections even without Scottish MPs.
As for the West Lothian question, Blair was elected by English voters in an English constituency, so unfortunately Scottish independence would not have prevented him being your Prime Minister.

This article is all the more interesting on the day I write - the day that a minority coalition government could be on the cards where Gordon Brown has to give major financial concessions to welsh and scottish nationalists in order to secure their support to get a loose coalition.
English blood will boil if we are seen to be governed by votes cast in Wales, Scotland and N Ireland who can feather their nests in return for a Labour-Lib-etc. coalition whilst ENgland has to tighten its belt until the pips squeak.
