Boris and rape centres: the Tory cuts begin

A nasty let-down from the London mayor

So, style-over-substance Boris Johnson has broken a mayoral election promise for three centres to look after sufferers of rape and domestic violence in London, delivering one instead, along with a reduced expenditure of nearly £2 million from what he originally pledged. In a video shown on Liberal Conspiracy here, Johnson announces £635,000 over three years, having originally pledged £744,000 over four years.
