Boris and the BBC

Great timing for the Tory party

By Mehdi Hasan

Hélène Mulholland, over on the Guardian blog, wonders whether “Boris’s EastEnders appearance” tonight will “win it for the Tories”.

It is undoubtedly great timing for the Conservative Party, four days away from their annual conference, to have their most popular member — the Mayor of London — appear on the BBC’s most popular programme.

As I have said before, and say again, so much for the “liberal-left”/“anti-Tory” bias at the Beeb.
