Lib Dem conference: in pictures

The key moments from the conference so far.

Charles Kennedy and Nick Clegg appear together on the BBC’s Andrew Marr Show from the conference on Sunday morning. The atmosphere appears jovial; rumours of his imminent defection to Labour have been well and truly quashed.

But before the cameras were rolling, things looked slightly less amicable, on Kennedy’s side, at least.

Later, Nick and Miriam mingled with the delegates. Nick appears to have been in good spirits.

Nick also enjoyed a go on the Wii with some of his supporters.

Unfortunately, he wasn’t the only one to try his hand at the games console. The Parliamentarians’ Wii leaderboard put him a paltry third.

And it isn’t all serious speeches. While in Liverpool, the party faithful can stock up on Lib Dem merchandise, including inspiring pictures of their leader in branded frame.
