By Spotlight

Margrethe Vestager, David Miliband and Christiana Figueres are just some of the key speakers confirmed to address the New Statesman‘s inaugural Global Policy Forum on Friday 12 June. At this online event on remaking the world after coronavirus, eminent experts from organisation across the globe will discuss the policy implications of the pandemic for a range of key areas – from healthcare, to education, to tech.

The Covid-19 crisis has ushered in a period of economic and social upheaval. Healthcare systems worldwide are under more pressure than ever, education systems are on hiatus, and companies are fighting to survive. Through a series of interviews, panel discussions, and live Q&A sessions, current and former global policy leaders will look ahead to a world after the pandemic. Sessions will cover key issues including tech policy, ways to reshape cities after the crisis, how coronavirus renews the need for a long-term strategy to aid refugees, and how we can move towards a carbon-free world.
