Tech leaders discuss the response to Covid-19

By Oscar Williams

Technology leaders from Sainsbury’s, the British Red Cross, the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy, and SSE Energy Services will be sharing how their organisations have responded to Covid-19, as well as the impact tech innovations are having on business, government and society during NS Media Group’s Virtual CIO Symposium, which starts at 1.30pm today.

Sainsbury’s CIO Phil Jordan, British Red Cross CIO Rosie Slater-Carr, BEIS Chief Digital and Information Officer Karl Hoods, and SSE Energy Services CIO Philip Clayson will be discussing crisis management, business continuity, the Workplace of the Future, and digital transformation at speed and scale with NS Media Group’s technology editors.

You can hear about how one of the UK’s largest retailers has responded to increased demand and restrictions brought about by the novel coronavirus, and how the British Red Cross and BEIS developed volunteer registration schemes and ventilator request forms in less than 24 hours.
