“Utterly anti-democratic”
Michael Meacher, Labour backbencher, joined the throng of protesters in Watford for the Bilderberg, the annual conference for 140 of the world’s most powerful.
“This is arguably the most important meeting of the leaders of western finance capitalism this year,” he said. “I don’t think they attend for just the tea and coffee.”
