Watch: Mitt Romney’s bin man is not a fan of Mitt Romney

Richard Hayes on the Republican presidential candidate.

By New Statesman

Richard Hayes is a sanitation worker in San Diego, and his route includes Mitt Romney’s $12m mansion. He has picked up “15/16 tonnes by hand, that takes a toll on your body.” He doesn’t like Mitt Romney’s recent statement, reported by Mother Jones, that his “job is not to worry” about people like him. This is what he says:

We’re kind of like the invisible people. He doesn’t realize, you know, the service we provide… When I’m 55, 60 years old I know my body’s gonna be breaking down. Mitt Romney doesn’t care about that.
