David Cameron: Nick Clegg’s position “very precarious“

Quote of the day.

By New Statesman

According to a Conservative minister quoted by The Sun, David Cameron is extremely worried about what could happen to the coalition if the Lib Dems were to oust Nick Clegg as leader, calling the DPM’s position “very precarious”. According to The Sun’s source, the PM has asked colleagues to help Clegg out, for the sake of the coalition:

“David is extremely worried by Clegg’s position. As he sees it, there may well be no Coalition if Clegg gets forced out so it’s vital he gets all the help he can.”
