An audience of pensioners at an Age UK conference were spitting Werther's this afternoon as David Cameron addressed their rally.

The elderly hecklers, channelling the kind of anger usually reserved for facetious paper boys and the golliwog disappearing from Robinsons marmalade labels, laid into the Prime Minister on the NHS.

They also roared in fury when the poor PM decided to take some questions from journalists, in an odd twist where he'd clearly decided the press would give him an easier ride.

Cameron evoked further outrage when he attempted the Tories' well-practised  'courting the grey vote' shtick, being corrected by the audience when condemning the other parties for not speaking at the event.

Watch him squirm:

Calm down, dearies.

I'm a mole, innit.
