Google Search to revamp pages this week

Search engine will offer new tools that automatically customise themselves to individual searches.

The search-engine giant, who announced the revamp in its official blog on Wednesday, said the search-box will be bigger and display the results in three vertical columns. The logo will also change soon.

A set of new navigational tools in the results page will automatically mix and match results to suit users' queries. Another feature titled "Something Different" will offer a selection of related subjects. Google's sponsored advertising links will also adopt a new colour background.
