How Cameron signed off his texts to Brooks

Note to Dave: "LOL" doesn't mean "lots of love".

A lovely vignette from Rebekah Brooks's appearance at the Leveson inquiry:

He would sign them off 'DC' in the main, occasionally he would sign them off 'LOL', lots of love, actually until I told him it meant 'laugh out loud'.

Brooks described the claim that Cameron sent her "a dozen" texts a day as "preposterous".  "I would text Mr Cameron, and vice versa, on occasion," she said. "Between January 2010, during election campaign ... on average, once a week."

Update: Here's the cringe-making footage of Brooks discussing the texts.
