Sign-up The government plans to begin easing some lockdown measures as early as Monday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson has said. Johnson will set out the next phase of the UK's coronavirus response in an address on Sunday, and said at today's Prime Minister's Questions that he wants to "get going with some of the lockdown easing measures on Monday". He also said it was his "ambition" for the number of daily coronavirus tests to reach 200,000 by the end of May.
