The New Statesman is looking for an experienced and capable editor to oversee its supplements and other projects.

This is a varied role that will include writing profile interviews, features and news; commissioning, editing and proofreading; providing ideas and advice to commercial teams, working on pitches and overseeing production of commercial features; developing new supplements, websites and other projects, and appearing at events.

The person we’re looking for will ideally have experience of editing a print title as an editor or section editor, an interest in and understanding of politics and business, and a wealth of editorial and commercial ideas.
