Our first cyber resilience dinner earlier this year was a huge success, and we received excellent feedback from our participants.

Being prepared for a cyber attack is not the same as being resilient to one. With an ever-growing threat surface, in order to protect our most valuable assets, it is critical that approaches to risk mitigation are both effective and appropriate.  This means looking beyond simply the protection of our organisations and towards true cyber resilience.  While cyber security practices seek to defend and protect against attack, cyber resilience assumes a breach will happen and prepares strategies and procedures to focus on business continuity and fast recovery to minimise impact. In this session, we’ll take a practical look at how your organisation can become secure-by-design – showing you how to build in security from the ground up and through the software development lifecycle – to achieve optimum resilience to the evolving threat vectors.

By attending this session, you’ll learn:

1.           Is this the end of cyber security as we know it? We’ll explore how being cyber ‘secure’ may not be enough to keep your organization safe from the elevated threat surface.

2.           How do you really prepare for a breach - when cyber security isn’t enough, how do we mitigate the risks?

3.           A breach will happen. Are you prepared for what’s next and how do we truly become ‘cyber resilient’?

Attendance at this event is by invitation only. To request an invitation, please contact kya.esnard@newstatesman.co.uk.
