The New Statesman is pleased to announce a policy conference to be held in Leeds Town Hall on Tuesday 27th February, to coincide with the launch of a New Statesman-Spotlight report on the Northern Powerhouse. We'll be exploring the key themes of devolution, investment in northern business, infrastructure, transport, education and the rebalancing of the economy, with leading politicians, business figures and advocates of the Northern Powerhouse strategy.
Join former Deputy Prime Ministers Lord John Prescott and Lord Michael Heseltine, Julie Elliott MP, Philip Graham and Sadie Morgan of the National Infrastructure Commission and many, many more, for a series of panels, speeches, networking opportunities and a drinks reception.
With panels on skills and education, transport and connectivity, digital infrastructure and inclusive growth, the New Statesman Northern Powerhouse conference will bring together councillors, parliamentarians, renowned experts and private sector representatives for a day of discussion, debate and insight.
