Join us for an exclusive New Statesman drinks reception celebrating the launch of the latest New Statesman-Spotlight report on Skills. The event will take place on the evening of Tuesday 14th November 2017 in Westminster, and will be attended by journalists, figures from government and politics, and industry professionals.

This issue of Spotlight, which includes contributions from Anne Milton MP, Baroness Coussins, and an exclusive interview with Brian Cox OBE, will explore the key areas of post-Brexit skills shortages,  the skills gap in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) subjects, the upskilling of the workforce for the jobs of the future, the importance of language skills in the jobs market, and the education and maintenance of a skilled workforce in a modern, developed economy.
