50 people that matter 2010 | 48. Han Han

One man and his blog.

A bestselling author, a champion amateur race-car driver and the most popular blogger on the planet, Han Han has achieved a lot by the age of 28.

Part of China's "post-Eighties generation", he is typically less political and more focused on the goals of money and status.

He is surprisingly uncensored by the Chinese authorities, but many would argue that it's because he has never really challenged the establishment, preferring to write about racing or social trends.

Yet his blog has taken more than 200 million hits since it launched in 2006, so his influence and reach cannot be questioned.
