Jeffrey Somers is an International Editor of 'The Journal of Contemporary Religion' and lectures at the School of Oriental and African Studies on sufism. Amongst his publications is 'Japanese New Religions in the West'. He is proprietor of Fine Books Oriental, in Bloomsbury, who have sold secondhand and rare books on the Orient for forty years.
