Jon Stewart on Mitt Romney's defeat
In his look back over the events of election night, Jon Stewart reserved special attention for Fox News, and in particular the five minutes of crisis on the network after Ohio was called for Obama - a moment that Stewart terms "crisis on bullshit mountain".
He gleefully tracked the pundits as they blamed the concept of mathematics itself for the declaration, before trying to come to terms with the fact that Mitt Romney, the candidate they had been saying would win for months, had lost.

Karl Rove will have an 'accident' any day now, and the Koch brothers who sank millions into this campaign, on his advice, will no doubt have a cast iron alibi....
dead man walking.
Jackass you Islamist nutter maybe you should be a little more concerned about the absence of free elections, the murderous quashing of human rights and the apartheid practised in your apartheid Pakistani homeland and the Islamist tyrannies you revere som much.
What are you on? This is just complete nonsense.
is that it Spastian? again the exact same dreary little dribble of impotent rage you type every time you see my name?
pathetic. the whole point is that Rove is exactly the kind of Totalitarian prlck you pretend to dislike. perhaps only as long as their skin is brown?
there's dumb, dumber, dumbest, and then there's you Spastian.
I would love a Jon Stewart figure on our television here. He would have a field day with our goons
But there simply isn't the writing and presenting talent over here, nor the tradition of Saturday Night Live etc. Did you see Channel 4's disastrous attempt, the 10 O'Clock Show a while back? Just getting Brooker, Carr and Mitchell together proved it can't be done. And HIGNFY is now just a hollow farce. It's a real shame that The Daily Show isn't on UK tv any more...

That 10 O'Clock show was probably the worst thing I've seen on TV. One episode they rounded off the show by talking about dog feces. They did the exact same thing on the very next show.
You can actually get the daily show here in the UK on the web. You need firefox and the "modify headers" plugin.
It is, Comedy Central Xtra.

The world is a better place because Jon Stewart is in it...
No wonder the Fox news goons don't trust the numbers - they ARE 'Arabic'.
