Upstarts Achievement Award
This award will be presented to the person who has done most to bring about social inclusion through enterprise over a significant period of time. The award this year will be a trophy.

Social Entrepreneur Award
In this category the judges will be looking for the person who best represents the qualities and attributes of a successful social entrepreneur. The award will be a trophy and a cheque for £3,000.

Young Social Entrepreneur Award
This is an award to highlight the next generation of social entrepreneurs aged under 30. The winner will either demonstrate success as a social entrepreneur or have innovative ready-to-launch idea(s). The winner will receive a trophy, a cheque for £3,000 and a Centrino laptop computer.

Social Enterprise Award
The winner of this award will be the organisation that clearly represents the qualities and attributes of a successful social enterprise. The Award will be a trophy and a cash prize of £4,000.

Best Revenue Model Award
With this award the judges are looking for a social enterprise that best exploits an innovative revenue-generating model. Entries will be particulary welcomed from social enterprises with an explicit ethical mission or ethical trading policies. The award will be a trophy.

Best Elected Advocate for Social Enterprise Award
Do you know of an elected representative who has been working to support and promote social enterprises at local, regional or national levels? The winner will have done most to enhance the status and significance of social enterprise. The award will be a trophy.

All winners will receive a once-in-a-lifetime, all-expenses-paid, visit to San Francisco to attend the fifth annual gathering of the Social Enterprise Alliance, "Leading a Community for Sustainable Non-Profits", 3-5 March 2004.
