This award is to recognise the person who best represents the qualities and attributes of a successful social entrepreneur. The winner will receive a Windows Pocket PC with Bluetooth.^*

Young Social Entrepreneur Award
This award is to recognise and encourage the next generation of social entrepreneurs under 30 years of age. The winner will possess the vision and drive to be a successful social entrepreneur. The winner will receive a laptop computer.^*

Overseas Impact Award
This award is to recognise the UK social enterprise that has made the greatest positive impact overseas. The winner will have demonstrated good business practice and a commitment to addressing international social issues over a significant period of time. The winner will receive an energy and environmental audit.^*

Social Enterprise Champion
This award is to recognise the individual, organisation, group or business which has done most to promote social enterprise in the UK.^*


*All first prize winners will receive a trophy and an annual subscription to the New Statesman
