Central contro

An entire church choir has resigned in a row with a West Country vicar.

Members of the choir at St Gregory the Great Church in Dawlish, South Devon, said they could "not continue under the current regime".

In a statement, the 18-strong choir, formed in 1988, said: "Our organist George has advised us that the final straw was Rev Bird's insistence on introducing a restricted contract, automatically centralising all control with him. Accordingly and unanimously, we have decided that we are unable to continue under this regime and therefore have, as a choir, resigned with immediate effect."

Unbelievable rubbish

Home recently, I thought I would watch The Jeremy Kyle Show. What a rude and arrogant man, and what a rubbish programme. I switched off after the first part and watched Trisha Goddard - what another load of rubbish. I really can't believe people watch these programmes.
