Victoria envies couples on council estates and has hinted she would happily swap life at Beckingham Palace for a job in a bank as long as David was by her side.

The 33-year-old singer said: "Sometimes I see a couple who have just finished work, sitting in their car, and she has got her Barclays Bank badge on and he has got his Dixons badge on and they are going home for dinner.

"Sometimes that looks so nice to me, but we all want something we don't have."
